NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
This is not a temporary Luxury RV park for camping style living, as owner portrays to the City,
it's really for permanent Low-income, non regulated, long term housing in RVs in a residential
neighborhood that received no notice. We are concerned this Know Slumlord wants to come into our neighborhood and not getting any permits we as homeowners would normally need to have before building or occupying. There are also Dangers of Methane Gas from oil wells, where propane will be used
Neighbors of Green Meadows West and surrounding areas, we ask that you TAKE THIS ISSUE VERY SERIOUSLY and don't think someone else is handling everything. While there is currently a group in our neighborhood that has taken charge, and moving things forward, WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP. It is imperative that you think about this development and how it would affect you, your family, your family's inheritance, property values, the equity in your home, safety, and anything else you could think of if this type of low income, not regulated by the City, housing style RV Park, is allowed. We will do our best to keep you informed of the actions located at 23416 S President Ave, Harbor City, but WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP now more than ever.

This developer currently has 3 other locations which have many issues such as police calls for service/reports (i.e. missing child, assaults with deadly weapons), fire code violations, and nuisance calls to police from the surrounding homes. Just two years ago, there was a FIRE that destroyed 5 homes next to Pacific RV Park (located off of McFarland in Wilmington) which was previously owned and constructed/created by this developer. We can work together NOW to stop this from coming to our neighborhood and other neighborhoods. If you don't live in any of these areas with these RV Parks, you probably just shrug it off, and think, this is not in my neighborhood, not my problem. BUT THINK AGAIN! This fight is not just for OUR community, but it is for YOUR COMMUNITY TOO! Stewart Silver and the Oceans 11 puts on the facade that they care about people, and help the helpless, but in actuality, all he cares about is himself, and the bottom line - $$$$$. This developer has a history of purchasing old oil land, obtaining special permits for low-income housing, and uses loopholes in the Municipal Code. Even though the City has allowed him to build these non regulated, non compliant, RV Parks for low-income living (that are poorly kept, and violating health/safety codes), he continues to break the rules and waits for the little slap on the hand, and then moves on to other parts of our City to get away with the same thing. We must BREAK THE CYCLE of this abuse of process NOW. Join us in our FIGHT!

There are 246 homes in Green Meadows West and 186 condos, and we have only had contact with 1/4 of that, and an even smaller number who DONATED. "THE WALL" We wanted to share some FACTs as I know some of you have witnessed the take down of the Block wall on August 14th & 15th, 2024. We have learned through City officials that they are not required to obtain a permit to remove the wall, nor are they required to have a permit for a wood, metal or plastic fence to be put up. They do have to apply for a permit if they were building a block or cement wall, or any other structure. Also, no new permits have been issued. If you see something or see people living in RVs at the location, please let us know.
Are you concerned with the RVs and Cars people are living in on Western Ave or anywhere else?
You can help by reporting it and get them off the street into better Housing and not on the Street
